Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN)Donald Trump's final day of campaigning in New Hampshire before the state's first-in-the-nation primary marked a notable departure from the candidate's convention-defying campaign.

He fielded voters' questions during three intimate town hall forums on Monday. And in a rally that night, Trump veered clear of controversial, headline-grabbing territory.

I agree.

Trump was never actually supposed to win Iowa, regardless of all the hype in the last week.

Now the real race is starting.

Not true. He said a BAD WORD (which I won't repeat here so my post doesn't get pulled) and mortally offended the Twitterverse. /s

Sorry I just read this, apparently a woman said that of Cruz.

He is accused of then repeating it.

Heaven forbid. :D

I’m going to post this again, so bare with me.

Ok...I’m listening to F & Fs. And they’re going to have Bush, and Rubio and Trump.

Ok... so Bush comes out first. I’m going to be open minded and pretend like I’m not decided.

Before Bush comes out, they play this shot of Trump saying in his New York drawl, “If this guy weren’t in gov’t no one would hire the guy.”

Bush comes out, and says, “Well, I’m not looking for a job working for Donald Trump.” and he talks about his job as governor.

Ok...he’s doing good. Scoring at least an 8 on that exchange. And is sounding good... maybe a 9 almost a 10. I’m thinking, if I’m undecided, I’m going to vote for this guy.

Then he orders a BIIIIIIIIG breakfast...Ham and eggs etc.

AND DID I SEE THIS? DID ANYONE SEE THIS? HE PULLS OFF THE SIDES OF THE TOAST JUST TO EAT THE MIDDLE????????!!!!!!!!

I mean the guy goes from like scoring 8 9 and 10s only to pull the sides of the toast off, to eat the middle.

Oh my - that’s funny.

I hope Mr. Trump picks up on this. Jeb only eats the middle of his toast! Bad Jeb. How’s he going to grow up to be big and strong?! I am sorry I missed that!

Steve Doocy walked up to a car that had just been parked and he asked a man and his 18 year old daughter who they voted for. Both voted for Trump. The father partially opened his shirt to show the Trump shirt that was underneath.

I watched that whole town hall. What Trump is doing is DESTROYING politically correct speech. He's interjecting humor back into the dialog. I thought Trump was in magnificent form, making a joke out of being told what he's supposed to say and do.

We cannot regain our freedom if people are afraid of saying something that might offend someone.

Just yesterday, those same news drones who are so upset about Trump repeating a bad word were praising Beyoncé's SuperBowl performance.

“We cannot regain our freedom if people are afraid of saying something that might offend someone.”.......

Exactly! Its those of us who are the “victims” of the politically correct crowd since we aren’t allowed to say anything.

I saw it too.

One of my biggest gripes is that in most televised town hall or Q&A situations, you simply can’t hear what the question is, you only hear the answer.

I had no idea what the discussion was about until Trump clarified it.

I’m glad he did.
