What they miss is that Trump is first, last, and always a salesman. If he thought he could make more sales by wearing a bow tie and striped pants and taking elocution lessons from Prince Charles, he'd do that in the apocryphal New York minute.
I agree. Trump is saying most of what he saying because he thinks the Republican base are idiots and racists. That perfectly explains his “Cruz is from Cuba” comment.
