You know who the big pussy is? Trump, who has to hide behind the skirt of a woman supporter to hurl this insult at Cruz. The whole, “I didn’t say it, she said it and it’s horrible” bullsh!t that is typical of Trump. If you think Cruz is a pussy, say it and own it, Trump!

I know this is forgotten now - but the first Bush (the dad) was called a "wussy" in New Hampshire. Now wussy sounds like a non vulgar term to our ears but it was a vulgar term back then and was a way of saying pussy.

I am not supporting anyone talking like this - even Trump. Maybe it is how New Hampshire people talk. I have heard they are an ornery bunch.

I forget where but I read an article on this. Wussy is a joining of the term "wimp + pussy". Bush, Sr was called a wimp. I always felt that was unfair and inaccurate - Bush was a genuine war hero. I also forget who called Bush a wimp on the campaign trail but the definition stuck.
