The way Trump was talking with his recycling of the "Bush(43) lied; people died" rhetoric, I believe that Michael Moore will be his vice presidential choice. The Lenin sure sounded like Michael Moore in the debate.

KaSick and the Rube are both jockeying for Trump’s VP choice.

I'm beginning to think that if Trump is the nominee, there is a good chance that he may pick Rubio as his running mate. Naturally, this is just a guess on my part but I have two reasons to speculate on this:

Concur; Rubio as the Apprentice; he is much easier on the ears and eyes than Cruz. who I would prefer on the Federal bench.

I cannot imagine Trump picking Rubio the Robot. Rubio is an empty suit who lacks a work ethic. His parents were not citizens when he was born - we can be sure Democrats will drag his eligibility out in courts.

Democrats are also going to capitalize on the many rumors about him. They might not be true, but when has that stopped the MSM that is frantic to keep Trump out of the White House.

Rubio brings nothing to the ticket. No, he has no noteworthy foreign affairs experience. He does bring, however, many negatives.

I’m starting to think the same, and for the same reasons you cite. Traditionally the VP is there to “balance the ticket” (i.e., help deliver an important swing state) and otherwise not try to upstage or embarrass the candidate. Trump doesn’t need a flamboyant or controversial partner and Kasich fits the bill as a dutiful soldier who will help with the key state of OH and the rest of the rust belt.

I’ve never understood Rubio’s appeal. From the moment I set eyes on the guy, he’s always seemed like a lying snake in the grass.

Rubio is a Grade A fraud and an amnesty pimp. He’d bring nothing to the ticket.

What the hell?

Rubio is a sell-out of the First Order on the most crucial issue of our time!

Purge your thought buffer and reboot.

Name calling does not help - we have too much of that already. His policy on amnesty is troubling, but he insists that the wall comes first - sound exactly like what Trump is saying. And we need someone with an extensive knowledge of international politics, who the players are and how we got where we are. Second place on the ticket works for me.

You’re either very misguided, or you’re here under false colors.

Rubio was the Sales Manager for Chuck Schumer’s amnesty bill - a piece of treasonous legislation that would have opened the floodgates to an immigration tsunami that would have been the death of this country.

What Rubio did was unforgivable, and should never be discounted by any American. Not only did he betray his constituents the moment he set foot in Washington, he sold out every conservative principle he allegedly held.

Not just no, but HELL no.

Rubio is the preferred Rep. VP candidate if you want to win the election. Who do you think would be better? Not necessarily “ your” candidate, but the “best” candidate to help the nominee win the election?
