Sheriff and a US Marshall went to the ranch to investigate and reported to coroner in El Paso they saw zero signs of foul play
The family requested no autopsy and local coroner/ death certificate judge agreed.
He has to be embalmed before his remains can exit Texas per state law
At embalming they are required to record and collect info for the coroner
I guess a post embalming autopsy can still be done in DC if folks insist
