I have to say my CenturyLink DSL is everything I pay for. Almost always 10 mbit, no major outage in 5 years.

Must be nice. The flood wiped out six miles of fiber optics cable two and a half years ago and it looks like they have little intentions to replace it. They back feed through some undamaged lines which overloads them. Dish looks better every day.

Hmmm. I had CenturyLink for years. The DSL was always below advertised speed. They told me one of the paired lines was out in the area and wasn’t worth the money to fix. I dumped them and went with my HOA Tv provider cable system. Paid extra for optional speed boost. Now, for less money than I paid CenturyLink for DSL, I get 20 mbps. I’ve been paying for but not watching the HOA cable because they don’t carry NFL Sunday ticket. It’s a waste but still better than DSL. 34481
