I’ve seen both sides stretch the truth to suit what they want to say. What they want to say always has a kernel of truth or suggests a reason we should be suspicious, but they always have to overwork the point. All of them. Which is why I hate politics.
I don’t think it’s going to matter. I think Obama will make sure that he is POTUS for up to 10 years, like he said in July of 2008. I think all this venom is wasted, because in the end the only way ANYBODY besides Obama will be in the White House in January is if we get serious about protecting this nation from an EMP attack, and that’s not happening while we’re indulging in the circular firing squad.
This is not about wealth either. Net worth of Cruz or Trump is more than yours or mine will ever be. I don’t envy that.

Dobson and others like him supporting and endorsing Cruz are not using religion....they are citizens who have the right to endorse Cruz or any other candidate they choose to endorse.....
You’re probably missing the point that Christians are very much involved in this election......coalitions are hug this year across the nation and with good reason.....
Additionally.....separation of church and state does not mean that the president or his supporters can not be god fearing men and christian worshipers as the left would have you belief............there’s absolutely nothing in Cruz’s life of public service that has shown he would force his Christian religion upon others, and he has repeatedly defended the Constitution.
First of all Dobson has never been an evangelist. He’s a Christian psychologist.
And secondly, as a Trump supporter myself, you’re not doing Trump any favor with your irresponsible and ignorant comments regarding Dobson.

There is nothing wrong with endorsements. It’s not a form of coercion. If Rubio drops out, is he not allowed to endorse? There are a good number of people who like his faith confession.

Yeschersitsy was actually a Trump supporter who liked making sarcastic posts to make Cruz supporters look bad. However, if you examine Yeschersitsiy’s past posts its clear that he was supporting Trump.
Pollywog and myself have both blasted some Trump supporters who seem to view Trump as a Messiah rather than a political candidate. They demonstrate this when they have to smear anyone who opposes Trump. There literally are some posters on here who have turned on anyone they used to respect such as Rush Limbaugh or Mark Levin just because they have not supported Trump. They also are willing to change their views on issues such as eminent domain and funding for planned parenthood just to agree with Trump. That is cult like behavior and not all Trump supporters have done this but there are more than a few that have.
In this particular post it has been shocking to see the level of hate and mockery displayed by some Trump supporters towards a respected Christian leader, Dr. Dobson just because he supports Cruz instead of Trump. Some posters have mocked him as a televangelist and compared him to Jimmy Bakker, another poster appeared to mock Jesus. This sort of behavior is horrifying to us Christians. Is FR now a place where Christianity and Christians are up for public mocking?
I also want to say that there are several Trump supporters on this thread who are very reasonable people who have been making reasoned arguments and have been defending Dr. Dobson even though they disagree with his endorsement of Cruz.
You cannot ‘blame’ Christians or any other group regarding the candidates voters support......any more than you can ‘blame’ the vets who an astounding 23,471 coalition members nationwide supporting and endorsing Cruz.... People make up their own minds regardless of the influences out there......
However if someone has “convictions” about their vote...that’s another story altogether.
If the GOPe had it’s way, Obama would be POTUS for life.
That way they could continue to steal us blind, destroy the middle class, and blame it on Obama.
Like I said, you can say whatever you want.
But holding someone’s faith over them to imply they aren’t a real or true whatever in hard or subtle ways, is evil.
