we do all our hunting at night...so strange to hear them owls and seeing them fly along with you in the woods to get game, my walking flushes up
being out at 3am is pretty common
the 3 C’s are on the road after 2am....cops...crooks... coon hunters
Thanks for the info curdogmen. I just heard them (2 different or the same one following me about 1/4 mile down the road) as being friendly or alerting others of my presence or mocking me. I was actually surprised to hear them as it was very quiet and still. I was the only one making noise with my shoes crunching on the snow/ice. It was a cool 17 degrees and the hoots were cool also.
