oh ok, so that excuses it? has he fired the people involved? there are allegations of lies by Cruz himself all over twitter. like i said all of the candidates are extremely flawed, you just pick the flaw that you can live with when you pull the lever, but to act like others making different choices are less principled or thinking less for themselves is just wrong. i know he probably wears it as a badge of honor, but he has NO one other than Steve King, from Congress endorsing him. i think unlikable is a detriment to being elected to office.
The thing about this one is how entirely implausible the entire thing is, and how eager partisans were to spread it around as gospel.

He looks doughy & soft. How do you get to be that old & not have a small bit of cragginess in your face? He is the guy you PRAYED the bottle would never point to when you played spin the bottle. The creepiness factor is high. Oh, I ate a passel of do- si- dos today....mmmmm......
