Trump would only do it if he’s afraid of losing.

He’s said too much.

Not that Trump gives a flick about that; he will gladly say one thing one day and other the next.

He might even vow to make Megyn Kelly communications director if he thought it would get him a vote.

And what would Ted do? I don’t think he’d want to join with Howdy Trumpee.

Yes. Trump went ballistic after Ted Cruz revealed that Trump wants the Feds to take over state land.

Called Cruz a liar. He does that a lot. Problem, here is a Trump quote.

“TRUMP: I don’t like the idea because I want to keep the lands great, and you don’t know what the state is going to do. I mean, are they going to sell if they get into a little bit of trouble? And I don’t think it’s something that should be sold. We have to be great stewards of this land. This is magnificent land. And we have to be great stewards of this land.”

In other words, Trump wants to control the lands.

I defy you to find the Trump-is-a-liar meme.

My post #1 included just a bit of hyperbole, to make the point that there are extreme views on both sides of this issue.

Personally, I see neither Trump nor Cruz as liars. Both have said things, perhaps off-the-cuff, that shouldn't have been said. But deliberate, cold liars themselves? Nope, that's a category occupied solely by Hillary at this point, IMHO.

Others have set a lower bar for what is a deliberate lie. I understand and respect that.

Cruz is leading in Nevada and miles ahead in Texas.

I’m not sure I want Cruz on the Supreme Court either. Maybe Diane Sykes who Trump seems to like.

We're talking about the way Cruz's campaign has now been framed after the shenanigans in Iowa, and it going on until he finally fired someone yesterday.

He got plenty of criticism for that "shaming" mailing from former supporters. Cruz cemented that reputation when he defended it instead of firing whoever was responsible.

Trump was focused on great building ventures.

Actually, Trump is not exactly a builder.

Trump is a real estate mogul - a salesman.

Trump doesn't look for any foundations.

Trump looks for different approaches to complete deals.

My father was a builder. He physically built houses and businesses, foundations, sidewalks, driveways, steps and fireplaces. His construction work was what he sold. He wasn't a speculator. He didn't flip properties.

Donald Trump is a salesman, nothing more.

obviously you have not read the Constitution and I can assure you that a Natural Born Citizen is not something Trump “businessed” up. Ted Cruz is NOT a natural born citizen and neither is Rubio.
Trump is hitting the BIG things that MUST BE addressed if this country is going to survive much longer. There is not much time to pull us out of the fire of the NWO. America is the sole country standing in the way of the United Nations/One World Order/Agenda 21 ruling the world. Our SOVEREIGNTY is the last wall against the tyranny and of destruction of the USA. Ted Cruz has voted against our sovereignty AND against the Constitution’s lawful duties given to the Senate. He has voted to give obama whatever he wants.
You quibble about far lesser SOCIAL problems which will be moot when the USA no longer exists.

OUR ECONOMY, IMMIGRATION, Our MILITARY, are the essential problems that Trump will address FIRST. After these three, There is time for the rest.

Trump thrives on the unexpected.
He will pick Ted Cruz.
The vitriol between them is staged. As soon as the GOPe is eliminated they will make up.
Together, they will crush and destroy the Uni-party and will begin what historians will declare as ,’The Grand Awakening’.

I don’t want Cruz on the supreme court. He is bought and paid for by the Cheap labor Express/New World Order gang. You’re right.

How do you dismiss the outright lies Cruz pulled on Dr. Carson and the Iowa voters?

Cruz will have to overlook the names Trump was calling him this morning.

Trump would have to overlook the fact that he's publicly said he believes Cruz is ineligible.

That horse (Cruz as VP) has long left the barn. No way it works now. The GOPe played Trump to go after Cruz and now he is stuck at 33 - 35%. No deal there.

Deal making is going on right now with the establishment to propel Rubio. It will be Kasich first, possibly the VP. They will turn Carson as his few supporters are upset at Trump.

Scorched earth not always the best road to take if you have to circle back latter.

Oh, I have read it.

You quibble about far lesser SOCIAL problems

Abortion is not a far lesser SOCIAL problem.

Look, you accuse me of not listening to Trump, and then when I point out things Trump's said that are wrong, and suggest our priorities are different, you blast me for my priorities.

Trump has said that NBC was a problem, then it wasn't, and when Cruz rose in the polls, it was again. Trump admits that he can change to be what he wants to be.

I have been holding back on unloading on Trump on all but the VITALLY IMPORTANT "SOCIAL" issues that you find so trivial, because I'd rather have him than Hillary.

I hope that my finding him to be untrustworthy to be misplaced, and if he wins, I will be happy to be proven wrong.

If you want to persuade Cruz and other supporters, you will have to do better than to say our central issues are too unimportant to quibble over.

Our SOVEREIGNTY is the last wall against the tyranny and of destruction of the USA.

Ted Cruz fought against his old boss, George W. Bush, as Solicitor Genral in Texas to make sure that Texas law, not U.N. law was followed.

“He got plenty of criticism for that “shaming” mailing from former supporters. Cruz cemented that reputation when he defended it instead of firing whoever was responsible.”

But you did not answer my question: “And, of course, DT is squeaky clean, right?” ;-)

I’m afraid that ship has sailed.

Would have loved to see it two months ago, but Cruz IMO wasn’t prepared to be the jr. partner.
