The reason Will Smith doesn't have an Oscar is because he isn't a good enough actor, Jamie Foxx has implied.
Speaking at the American Black Film Festival Awards in Beverly Hills on Sunday, the Academy Award-winning actor make a joke about how he doesn't get 'what's the big deal' with Smith's Oscar boycott.
Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith are not attending this year's Academy Awards, citing systemic racism in the industry that has led the acting nominees to be all white actors for a second year in a row.

Jamie Fox is full of sh*t. I saw the movie "Concussion" staring Will Smith. He was excellent. He portrayed a character very much outside of his norm, and did a fantastic job representing this person.
I thought he should have gotten an Oscar for "Concussion". It was really that good. I thought it was strange that he did not even get a nomination.
Then someone explained it to me. Will Smith had made a movie that renders the NFL in a very bad light. Apparantly Los Angeles was at that time trying to get a football team, which of course was entirely at the discretion of the NFL.
The way it was explained to me, a Hollywood endorsement of Will Smith's movie through an Oscar nomination or award, would very likely jeapordize LA's effort to get a foot ball team. Giving Smith an Oscar for a movie that makes the NFL look bad, would be regarded as a slap in the face to the NFL, and nobody wanted to do that.
So we have here a situation where Will Smith deserved an Oscar, but they didn't dare give it to him for larger political and economic reasons.
That is the best explanation i've heard so far regarding the Will Smith Oscar situation.

Obvious question. Wondering if acting nominees were all black actors for a second year in a row would they be complaining? My guess is no. If so who is the real racist?
But he made a movie about concussions which is the great civil rights issue of our generation.
Seriously, who cares.

Jada Pinkett Smith has screwed herself up with so much plastic surgery and looks so bizarre that she should be protesting to show her solidarity with space aliens rather than blacks.
