Business mogul Donald Trump is optimistic about the future of New York City if Democratic candidate Bill de Blasio wins the mayoral election.
“I think pretty strongly that he’ll end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor and I don’t think he’s going to want to kill the golden goose,” Trump told an Albany radio station Thursday, according to the New York Daily News.

“I think he’s a smart guy that knows what’s going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York,” Trump said. “I think he is going to want to make New York great.”
De Blasio has been leading his Republican opponent, Joe Lhota, in the polls by a staggering margin.
As for his own political future, the newspaper reported that Trump remained vague repeating he is not interested in running for governor of New York, but said 2016 might be possible if the “right person” does not step forward.

Yeah you, I assume have it on good authority from Marco or Jeb or whomever, that the Donald steals services. In politics you trash your opponent. They all do it usually by extreme exaggeration.
Cruz is not withering. He just does not get into the gutter with trump. He is more of a statesman and is more civilized. If he thought like a street thug it might be different or if he broke donnies nose donnie would back off.
I would pay good money to see a 3 round fight.
I don’t get the Trump-love. Trump gets a complete pass for all his past policy positions, candidate donations, visitors to his wedding, etc...

Because he talks tough, acts tough and thinks he is tough. He is a typical NYer but in all actuality he is not as tough as he acts and he tells audiences what they want to hear. He puts on an act just like WWF so that tells you the mentality of his supporters.
I fear the majority of the voters will not fall for his act and we will wake up on the morning after election and have to learn to say President Clinton.........again.

Most of us that will never vote for him saw thru his act rather quickly.

Don't stay home. You have, at very least, a congressthing to vote on. Maybe also a senator, a governor, state delegate and senator, sheriff, local tax and bond issues ...
