Thanks loads - don’t know why I couldn’t find them....

Sure wish we had the schedules to look at....Cruz senate salary is $174,000 per year. 2014 Form 1040 - Line (7) Income: Wages, salaries, tips, etc., is $983,161.. The difference between that and his senate salary is $809,000.

That line is specifically WAGES, SALARIES ETC., - NOT OTHER Income so what accounts for the rest? Can’t be rents, royalties, dividends etc., as they would be accounted for elsewhere.

Going to look at 2013 the year he entered the senate and see how much of an increase 2014 is over 2013...

An increase in 2014 over 2013 in Wages, Salaries -
983,161 - 915,583 = $67,578....

Wonder why he had Self Employment Tax in 2014 ($5,088) and ($13) in 2013. Who had to declare self employment income in 2014 - he or his wife? There is business income declared on the 2014 return for $190,000.

Just curious..I think tax returns of the rich and famous politicians are interesting - would be more so if we had the whole picture.

Ask Lloyd Blankfein.
