You have long been one of my top people on the Free Republic, and that goes back a long long time. This is one example of how praiseworthy your posts have been. I salute you for your comment.
I have supported Cruz after I saw him introduce Sarah Palin at CPAC March, 2013. These are his words:

Over the year, the dynamics have changed and we have Trump who is poised the run the table. We are witnessing a pivotal place in our nation’s history and I am lucky to be here for it.

Cruz will endorse Rubio in exchange for a SCOTUS spot.

Sasse is lying. Trump disavowed Duke when he learned who Duke is. Duke hasn’t been in the news in 30 years.
If Trump, and his supporters, getting screwed would eliminate the republican party I’d be willing to see it happen.
Duke has been rejected by conservatives... time and time and time again... His re-appearance reads to me more like a sabotage attempt on Trump. IF he really supports a Trump presidency he would have kept his mouth shut.

Fred Trump may be why Donald Trump will not answer questions about the Ku Klux Klan.

The election process isn’t complete, and of course no one is going to be the nominee with only 1/3 of the Republican electorate in tow. At the same time, Trump has much greater numbers than either Cruz or Boobio. It will indeed be interesting to see where the votes go when Either one of them drop out. The single digit guys have noting of consequence to contribute.
