Trump has changed his positions since he began the debates and this year’s campaign. I understand he might have changed from 20 years ago.....this is just recent stuff where he is all over the map on a number of issues. That translates to a politician saying anything to anyone to get elected. That is not acceptable.
Perhaps. It is more likely - given his penchant for shoot, aim, ready - that he has researched the issue and come to a better informed position. I have no trouble with this. He may shoot off with an uninformed position but he is willing to gain a deeper understanding and change his position if warranted.
