Your biggest problem with the A-1 Sky raider would be the R-3350 radial engines.

OK, but that radial engine sound can really inspire that last minute freeze in the open and crap-in-your-pants moment when they know they're going to die.

And even more important, one rifle bullet can take out that PT-6 turboprop. That radial can lose a jug or two and keep ticking. Also its a -big- chunk of iron to protect a pilot frontally. But still even the beloved Skyraider should bow before the power speed and survivability of a Warthog.
