I am pro-life and I’m voting for Trump.
Republicans ever since Roe vs. Wade claim to be pro-life and we still have abortions and use taxpayers money to pay for them. Jeb Bush was governor when the state of Florida killed Terri Schiavo. Bush was President. It was the first time a state ordered the killing of an innocent disabled woman. The judge ordered food and water to be withheld, not just the feeding tube removed. The tube had been placed for convenience. The judge ordered that no one was allowed to give her drink or water by mouth.
The President by himself does not make law. If you want to pass laws against abortion, then look to Congress or the state.
I believe Trump that he is pro-life now and will look for conservative judges to appoint to the Supreme Court. I’ve known people who have changed their views on abortion later in life.
In the interview with Tim Russert, he said he was pro-choice, but found abortions abhorrent. He now says he’s pro-life. I trust him a lot more than Cruz.
I don’t need Trump to tell me Cruz is a liar. I had already come to that conclusion way before Trump said it.
Pro-life is number one for me also and I have struggled to make the right choice. We do not have a candidate who is opposed to contraception that I am aware. Many do not see the damage contraception does to women and its abortifacient aspect.
Rubio gone. Kasich gone. Cruz not reliable. Trump made an about face. Says he wants a culture of life. That means something. We have seen many people come from hard core pro-abortion to the pro-life, then culture of life position. I am now inclined to give Trump credibility on the issue. The rest of his platform is pro-America like no other and to me that is culture of life.
