WASHINGTON — In a major reversal, the Obama administration said Tuesday it will bar oil drilling in the Atlantic Ocean, a move cheered by environmentalists and consistent with the president’s aggressive steps to combat climate change.

Interior Secretary Sally Jewell said the decision “protects the Atlantic for future generations.” Officials listened to thousands of people in coastal communities from Florida to New England who said, “Now is not the time to start leasing (for oil) off the Atlantic Coast,” Jewell said.

Hopefully these things done unilaterally by the Administration can be undone just as easily.

He enjoys building suspense. He wants his oh-so-predictable decisions to seem thoughtful and measured.

His entire "Legacy" will be reduced to footnotes indicating ("a prior program/restriction/etc.)!

Yes, a legacy of divisiveness, poverty and downward mobility.

And a rather flaccid legacy it is.

The decision comes as President Barack Obama, in his final year in office, continues to build an environmental legacy that includes a global agreement to curb climate change and an ambitious plan to reduce carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants.

This swooning reporter sure polishes Bath House's knob in this puff piece.

Patriots, please bear in mind that, with respect to issues like Atlantic drilling, the president has the constitutional authority only to either sign or veto a bill from Congress. The Constitution doesn’t let the president, the executive branch for that matter, act unilaterally from Congress no matter what the corrupt media wants everybody to think about the president’s powers.

In other words, corrupt Congress is wrongly letting Obama get away with doing a bunch of things. Corrupt lawmakers are essentially letting Obama do their dirty legislative work for them imo, likely so that they can keep their voting records clean. And by keeping their voting records clean, lawmaker can fool low-information patriots into reelecting them.

Remember in November !

When patriots elect Trump, Cruz, or whatever conservative they elect, they need to also elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support the new president, but also protect the states from unconstitutional federal government overreach.

Also, consider that such a Congress would probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

The Great ObamaNation™ is doing as much damage as possible to our nation before it is forced to give up power.
