I’m not sure, but I think Dice even TOLD them it was worth $1100—and they acted even more terrified.

I was in Paris with my wife and daughter. A man steps up and says, I just found this ring (gold-looking) here by you. You must have dropped it. Here. And handed me the ring and walked away.

I am puzzled. Ring looked real. Wife is spooked. I am thinking, who can I check with or give this to?

Man returns. Wife puts ring in his vest pocket and we split.
