You guys get nice fluffy snow. Here in New England this late in the season we will get 12” of cement.

Yes, winter snow is light and fluffy. The snow today is with pretty cold temps, 18F right now. But the 2003 storm and many other spring storms start with rain and turn to wet snow that then freezes into ice. In the 2003 storm there were many roof collapses because the snow was so heavy. My house got the extreme stress test with no damage. Many neighbors not so lucky.
