For quite some time, and I constantly find myself making revisions, I see it as a sort of smoke and mirrors form of deception. No real power, just a proclivity to deceive.

Why?

Common to mankind are the three temptations, and the values implied therein can infect people. The temptations should be resisted as Jesus did.

But yeah, it is not a single person. How could it be a single person and be there 2,000 years ago as well?
