Thanks ... I was starting to get worried about the Kitty in post #6 ... but my OP is sort of a half-serious/joke thing, it's a real article, from a real newspaper, and I'm always amused by reading about 'this study and that study' by unnamed 'scientists' who have just 'discovered' something which we all knew already from our own common sense.
