Let us not forget that “The club for growth” has backed Ted Cruz. Ted has completely sold out.

Except where it comes to issues that the Establishment really counts for a lot, like TPA/TPP, Corker bill, increase in H-1B visas, increase in immigration, etc., little things like that, and the same little things that Cruz supporters refuse to hold in their consciousness.
I don’t know about hate but I think they dislike him because he is an overly ambitious young establishment hack who would not wait his turn and jumped the line, which is frowned upon in Calgary Ted’s Bushy establishment circles. Pulling self promoting stunts like calling McConnell a liar just to build his “outsider” cred probably didn’t help any either. On top of that he is a very unlikeable guy who hangs around with other thoroughly unlikeable GOP establishment types.
I think Cruz really does hate him.

This is simple. If some are so sure who has the momentum and will get the Republican convention, put your money (donation to FR) where your mouth is.
Personally, I would set this bet at $100 as fair game, but I think some are also suffering under the Obama “recovery” so I think a $40 bet in more fair.

I don’t doubt it, but I don’t believe for a second that a proven liar like Cruz was mortally offended by McConnell lying to him as his story goes.

I think a lot of the GOP establishment elite guys hate each other for the same reason that high school cliques hate each other. I believe they are that shallow.

Cruz is a first term senator that ran on a Tea Party platform. The "GOP establishment elite guys" drew a target on his back the first day he was there.
I think the Tea Party thing was pretty much an act much like Rubio pulled. The Senators all knew who Cruz was from his association with Boehner and Bush. I think the reason they dislike him as they do is that he committed the grave sin of jumping the line. As the GOP insider said in the restaurant scene on “The Circus” “Republicans are respectful and wait their turn”.
It started way before he ever declared his candidacy.
If you think Cruz is following GOP masters, you just might be a brainwashed cult member who’s lost all capacity for independent perception and reason.
So you think his word for word match with the MSM and Romney condemnation of all the Trump caused VIOLENCE was just an accident? Ok.
