I’m a Disney World fanatic. Don’t know if there’s any truth to the RUMOR for the closing of these two parks, but the RUMOR says that a dangerous virus of some kind was discovered there...doesn’t sound legit to me, but that’s what one of the RUMORS is.

Bird $hit, warm humid weather, reptiles everywhere eating anything that moves too slow, mosquitoes, and still movement fresh water full of lawn fertilizer..............

Of course there are viruses, brain eating amoebas, flesh eating bacteria, and fungus that can eat your toes off. That's why man came out of the jungles and modified their environment to their evolutionary favor. Some creatures adapt to their environment, and human creatures adapt their environment to flourish.

I think it's a very cool study to follow.

Disney fanatic two...i was also told there was some type of amoeba in the water that was dangerous, hence they closed it down....we stay at the Contemporary Resort all the time and you can see DI from there..

It was a parasitic aemoba that is blamed, but all lake water was treated before entering River Country. New water resorts opened which had dedicated parking and the old one shuttered.

The boy who died from the aemoba passed away a decade before the park closed, and the lake speed permitting swimming a few years later when the company decided lifeguards should be no more than 30 feet from a swimmer at all times during the day.
