Updated 3:03 p.m. | Personal information gathered from a cyber assault on online-fling facilitator Ashley Madison has now hit the Web, and a handful of Capitol Hill accounts appear to have been laid bare.
Per media reports, the client records harvested by hackers identifying themselves as "Impact Team" include some 36 million email addresses. Ashley Madison does not, by its own admission, engage in any type of email verification, making fictitious accounts another resource in the cheater's toolbox.
Approximately 15,000 of those appear to sport the .mil or .gov designation assigned to the armed forces and federal agencies, respectively. Impact Team has not divulged the names associated with the pilfered hook-up records, but a data-driven social media user combed through the information and compiled the most common occurrences.
Among those purportedly seeking relations away from their spouses are emails associated with:
The office of GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
The Capitol Police.
Seven folks with ties to House offices.
Nearly four dozen people who punch timecards at the White House.
Sans a deep dive into the dark web to parse the full batch of raw data released for public scrutiny, HOH has no sure way of knowing which of our friends, neighbors and/or colleagues were looking to get their freak on away from prying eyes.
A Cruz aide assured HOH that nary a soul in that office is surreptitiously on the prowl.
The email address in question is press@cruz.senate.gov, a publicly and widely available forwarding address that is often entered into web contact forms by people with no connection to our office, Team Cruz said of the generic mailbox.
No one from the Capitol Police or Senate Sergeant-at-Arms responded to queries concerning particularly lustful aides.
hmmm a lawyer who say's published articles are false yet doesn't sue that publication...yet blames publicly someone else... #cruzsexscandal— Ashley Edam (@AshleyEdam) March 25, 2016
At first I thought Trump’s “lyin’ Ted” stream of conciousness was over top. Perhaps Trump knew something I didn’t know though? It will seem mild if the NE story turns out to be true.
NATIONAL ENQUIRER STATEMENT ABOUT CLAIMS IT WAS INFLUENCED BY TRUMP:
No one influences the reporting that the National Enquirer does other than our own reporters and editors. We stand by the integrity of our coverage and remain committed to our aggressive reporting on such an important topic. The more than any other publication, has been unflinching in its reporting on the 2016 presidential candidates. AMI, Enquirer parent company, to the Hollywood Reporter
The Cruz supporters are in DENIAL and getting VERY DESPERATE.
I doubt @realDonaldTrump would throw his spokeswoman @KatrinaPierson under the bus just to defame @TedCruz using the #CruzSexScandal article— Mark Dice (@MarkDice) March 25, 2016
“Maybe I’ve missed it but what I haven’t seen from Cruz supporters is a defense of “Impossible! Ted Cruz would NEVER do that!” That’s because even Cruz supporters are (subconsciously) afraid that there might some truth to this story since it becomes more obvious every day that he is not quite the guy we were sold”
It represents something that has disturbed me since last summer.
That Cruz has major holes in his biography. We only keep hearing stuff like he was a debate champion in college, and that he memorized the constitution at 13 or some loose idea of his life as an adult.
I will admit I had never heard of the guy until 2015, and still don’t know much about him.
The fact that this is met with no real sense that I isn’t possible, shows that many of his supporters hold open the chance that he did.
Ok, this is a nothing story. The email address in question is not for any individual Cruz staff member, it is for ‘press’@cruz.senate.gov, nothing to see here folks, IMHO.
I suppose in the disastrous event that Cruz actually was elected POTUS he would be blaming everyone else for anything and everything.
“Trump and Enquirer CEO David Pecker have been friends for years. ‘Theyre very close,’ said a source close to the Enquirer. In July 2013, Trump even tweeted that Pecker should become CEO of Time magazine, which at the time was being spun off from its corporate parent, Time Warner. ‘Hed make it exciting and win awards!'”
Here is the Donald’s tweet from 2013:
.@TIME Magazine should definitely pick David Pecker to run things over there – he’d make it exciting and win awards!

I don’t know about anybody else but I am not desperate. Now this quote, Cruz:Trump May Be A Rat But I Have No Desire To Copulate With Him sounds panicked and desperate to me but that is just my opinion.

Just in case somebody missed this sentence.”
Wow, you believe that? Look at the email address...
Put some Absorbine on those sore wrists ok?
You’re losin’ it.
Sorry, does not fit Cruzs well established M.O.
You mean, the campaign M.O. of lying? Like when he lied about Carson? Lied about Marco Rubio hating The Bible? Lied about forgetting he’s Canadian? That M.O.?
Have been reading the National Enquirer for more than forty years, happen to be a lawyer, and understand the Enquirer breaks real stories. So far, the Enquirer has been careful to report on what the rumors are, which is different than reporting on what the Enquirer alleges is news. It is possible that Cruz is waiting to read the Enquirerâs next story. If the Enquirer publishes a straightforward âTed Cruz has had mistressesâ story â meaning reports it as news, as opposed to reports there are rumors â then Cruz must demand a retraction. At this point, however, it would make no sense for Cruz to demand that the Enquirer retract an assertion that there are rumors he’s had affairs, since it seems there are, indeed, rumors of such. (I know this sounds silly, but the legal differences matter. If the next Enquirer story is a real âthis-is-going-on-storyâ, and Cruz doesn’t demand a retraction, I’ll concede the underlying story probably is true.)

It is deranged talk...
Another domino falls.
The Oily Lawyer did NOT refute the charges, did he?
Instead, it appears Cruz used Ashley Madison to hunt
for more and more.
Sociopathic behavior, is it not?
