I see what you are saying now...but, doesn’t the .gov make is a bit more difficult? indeed the .senate.gov would seem to limit it to the senate.

I was a Cruz supporter initially, but the phony façade fell away pretty quickly. What was interesting in our family is my 86 year old mother (and political activist!!) recognized it right away...never liked him. During normal times I probably would not be a Trump supporter because of his personality, although I do like him as a man. But, we need a very strong leader to get us reasonably through the next few years...I think we are in the midst of ever deepening turmoil...

It’s funny you should say this. My 90+ year old dad also recognized the same very early in this primary, and isn’t surprised at any of the Cruz incongruences that have been popping up. Dad’s an engineer who deals with logic, facts, solutions, results and scientific truth. To him, politicians and most lawyers are an offense to his sensibilities.
