People don't really change much from the ages of 17 and 18, and I know this guy. I know him to be a good decent guy. We lived and breathed an Honor Code in those years. It wasn't just a rule. It was our way of life. Neither Donald, nor any other cadet who graduated with us would ever lie, cheat, or steal from a fellow cadet. These values became irreversibly intertwined in the fabric of our personalities, of who we are.

Maybe Donald wouldn't lie to, steal from or cheat a fellow cadet, but unfortunately for the rest of us, we ain't his fellow cadets. Thus, there's no shortage of non-cadet folks who have been treated less than honorably by Trump... including but not limited to ex-wives, lenders, investors, business partners and Trump University attendees.

As to your point about Cruz... Seriously, man? How many of us want to be held to account for every stupid remark we made when we were 17?

Considering how many people Trump deals with; it is quite amazing how few of his actual acquaintances have anything negative to say about him. Considering how few people claim to have been friends of Ted Cruz... it is quite amazing how many actual acquaintances have made dire warnings about him becoming president.

Considering the crap now in the pipeline and Ted’s irrational behavior the last couple of days, I would say that Ted has had a complete melt down. This is the type of thing that the GOPe have hoped would happen to Trump, but once again they have misread the situation.
