Yes but they have to string along all the dweebs because they get squeamish when something bad gonna happen to their Rick or Daryl.
There has been some definite great moments on this season, don’t get me wrong. The writing is strong, but yes the nature of the TV business is still stopping them from completely embracing what they could really be doing. I love that they are finally getting real as far as what the culture would keep sliding towards. But that conflicts with the actual horrible reality of story telling on a commercial level.
