Exposing Cruz on Immigration [arthur march vanity]

Posted on 03/29/2016 7:47:12 AM PDT by Arthur Wildfire! March

A brilliant female author pointed out that no issue is more urgent right now than immigration.

In a word: checkmate.

It affects voter fraud, voter disenfranchizement, free speech, terrorism, fiscal responsibility, and ultimately even the federal judiciary.

And to expose Cruz on this issue I must first deconstruct the Big Lie he's been hiding behind.

How many times have you heard that Trump is just a latecomer on immigration?

People who repeat that malicious slander actually mean well for the USA. Cruz reshapes their own patriotism like a political 'plastic explosive' to spread hatred and and lies.

Trump's books consistently document that he has been concerned about the Border since 2000 -- note that was a year before people jumped from the flaming buildings at Ground Zero.

I'm not sure when Cruz first mentioned the Border while working under GW Bush, but Team Cruz somehow managed to slime Trump as a latecomer.

We should all forgive Cruz supporters. Their patriotism is being contorted.

But we must forewarn people -- the Big Lie is key.

Trump WILL solve our immigration crisis.

So I urge all people who are suspicious of Trump -- please indulge in asking yourself just one thing:

"Why would any patriot risk chaos and dissent at the convention if Trump could at least solve that one problem?"

MAKE NO MISTAKE ...

Cruz sought chaos early on, all the way back at the beginning of this month if not sooner:

Cruz: I'm fine with contested convention [03-09-2016]*

All this time Cruz has been gambling on chaos at the convention floor rather than unity against leftists.

He's rolling the dice and WE are at stake.

To all Cruz supporters:

God bless you.

I have frequently pointed out that my honorable opposition is only over the top because you are patriots who care deeply about the USA.

The greater the anger, the greater the devotion to freedom. Best to assume that. It helps us think of each other in the best possible light.

Outing the Slanders of Trump on Immigration

Trump Effigies Burned in Mexico for Easter ‘Celebrations’
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3414504/posts

[That should say it all, but ...]

[quote]

As far back as 2000, in his book, The America We Deserve, [Trump] condemned illegal immigration, said that illegals needed to leave the country, and insisted we should put the interests of Americans before those of immigrants (even legal ones). By 2011 in the chapter, ‘It’s Called Illegal Immigration for a Reason,’ in his book Time to Get Tough, Trump came down very hardline on the border, saying we need to build a wall, greatly increase border patrol agents, deport illegal criminals, stop giving anchor babies citizenship, etc. So, yes, I think his calling for the border to be secured for the last 16 years is long enough for me to trust that he will actually do it, especially considering all the heat he’s taken for his position. — FenwickBabbitt

Real simple stuff here. You either support Trump, or you are happy with the way things are and want more of it.

Trump operates in Hyperbole... Promise way over the top (exaggerate and lie) then work out the details later once “THE DEAL” is done.

Thank you for adding. Fair enough.

But to risk unravelling a unified front of patriotism against the radical left ... who would gamble that way?

Yep.

But partizanship causes all kinds of bees to buz in somone’s head. Human nature, and we should not expect instant surrender.

It takes leadership. A leader must know when he’s marching his forces the wrong way.

Extra points for using “exposing” and “Cruz” in the same sentence!

And I have discovered there are many reasons why Ted Cruz is like his is. Trying to be an “outsider” when one is really to the core an “insider” is hard to do!

It is all explained right here:

As a Ted Cruz supporter, I appreciate that you consider us patriots. Unfortunately, I cannot be as gracious to Trump supporters in general after all the nastiness I have found in my inbox. There seems to be little or no patriotic impulse expressed in these messages, only a sort of blind devotion and hatred of any opposition; and a uniformity of expression that remains inexplicable to me and kind of reminds me of Star Trek’s “Borg Collective”.

Yeah....you are all alone and feeling blue.

In just one day last month, Cruz supporters call me...

1) Fascist

2) John Bircher

3) anti-Semite (I married a CONSERVATIVE Jewish gal)

And I had posted nothing nasty, or even off color to get hammered either. You tend to your own brand of ethics, maybe?

wiki explains nothing about inside/outside... Heidi could be leading the western region of wealth management for Merrill Lynch, and the tRumpary would still declare the Cruzes are bought and paid for by Big Banks since ML is owned by BofA.

She is a conservative who got thru Harvard Biz School cause she is smart and talented in something other than stripping naked. Vote Cruz and get two Conservatives in the White House VS tRump where you get .... NONE!

Arthur,
Appreciate your comment... how do you get by the touchback amnesty that Trump has backed? It’s pretty different than the “deport them” stance back a decade ago... what do we believe from a guy that says anything anytime and doesn’t have any other conservative stances (pro-abortion, anti 2nd amend, big Dem funder, etc ? Thanks for your thoughts...

‘Appreciate your comment... how do you get by the touchback amnesty that Trump has backed?’

The ‘touchback’ claim is contorted spin.

Jeff Sessions supports the plan, and like I wrote, Trump has been concerned about immigration ever since 2000.

So back to square one — Cruz is for Cruz. He wants to gambling our nation’s future on the convention floor.

Is Heidi Cruz indeed a globalist?

I support the Task Force report and its recommendations aimed at building a safer and more prosperous North America. Economic prosperity and a world safe from terrorism and other security threats are no doubt inextricably linked. While governments play an invaluable role in both regards, we must emphasize the imperative that economic investment be led and perpetuated by the private sector. There is no force proven like the market for aligning incentives, sourcing capital, and producing results like financial markets and profit-making businesses. This is simply necessary to sustain a higher living standard for the poorest among us—truly the measure of our success. As such, investment funds and financing mechanisms should be deemed attractive instruments by those committing the capital and should only be developed in conjunction with market participants.
