Daily Mail Asks Ted Cruz: Can You Just Say ‘I’ve Always Been Faithful to My Wife’?
Breitbart News ^ | 29 Mar 2016 | David Martosko

Posted on 03/30/2016 6:09:20 AM PDT by protest1

Sen. Ted Cruz(R-TX)97% declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.

‘Senator Cruz,’ DailyMail.com asked him, ‘can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you’ve never been unfaithful to your wife?’

But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

Ok I get your point but if I would think a bold flat out denial would be a lot stronger a response.

To me the fact that he can't manage that is as good as an admission of guilt.

“he gave them soundbites attacking Trump and the reporter.”

Like they don’t have enough of those, right? Cruz does that in every conversation, no matter what the topic is.

Cruz was spoon fed the answer and he could not even do that.

Cruz has a little bomb on his hands. He knows her. He's seen her brought home by cops who are concerned that she should be sectioned. He has to be careful that something he says is going to set her off. She knows he's a lying sack of crap, and is trying to sort out whether she wants to look like an ass for the rest of her life. Teddy couldn't answer because he hears the hissing of the fuse.

That’s a good question, but not valid here. The topic of this thread concerns Ted Cruz, not Donald Trump.

Guilty or innocent, Cruz certainly would feel the question inappropriate. It’s nobody’s business whatever goes on in a marriage. I think people who post this garbage gossip and opinions here are lonely souls in need of companionship.

This is about a LOT more than the multiple adultery. It tells us about Ted's character and it is all bad. I keep having to bang on about it but Ted is supposed to be the good family man Christian candidate yet he lies through his teeth, repeatedly, for political advantage.

Also what about blackmail? It leaves Ted VERY vulnerable. What else do the establishment have on Ted? But hey... don't worry Ted we will cover it all up so long as you play ball and go along with us.

It's not just the non-denial denial. It's that Cruz used it as a chance to vilify Trump.

Guilty or not? Most women who don't have others do their thinking for them have pretty good radar for identifying guys who are cheats. One indication is that they weasel around the question.

Non eligible, not Natural Born Citizen, Cuban-Canadian, Pinocchio Ted attacking Big Donald at CNN freestyle match.

Cruz "character":

1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.

2. Claiming Carson quit, presinc captains told voters "vote for Cruz"

3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video "vote for me" with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a Seven Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.

4. "Brilliant" lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.

5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.

6. Uses Trump's wife in advertising "vote for Cruz" and then screams that Trump hates women, while he "loves them" - keeping few extra mistresses.

Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban-Canadian. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN

(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a "natural born citizen" is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

Yes I fully agree. It makes Ted's "sin" all the worse. He tries to profit politically from it. I guess he never heard of repentance? Isn't Ted the good Christian candidate?

It's no business what goes on in a marriage

For Cruz, there's the issue of hypocrisy. He framed himself as the Supreme Christian, the only one worthy of values voters. Isn't hypocrisy "false witness? All he had to do is say "I NEVER cheated on my wife". Unless he did.

I don’t recall Trump making his Christianity the centerpiece of his campaign as Cruz has. And it is undeniable by those of us who know quite a bit on the subject.

“He’s seen her brought home by cops who are concerned that she should be sectioned”

What does that mean.

However, you say something I hadn’t thought of, namely, that claiming he’s been faithful might anger his mistresses.

Is there anyone left who does not believe that Ted is not a lying hypocrite and false prophet who has had multiple affairs?

So, why not just answer the question? If he's a lying, filthy adulterer, why wouldn't he just lie here? Why not just say, "I have always been faithful to my wife." It would be consistent with his character as you portray it.

Do you have an opinion about this?

Or is all of this simply character assassinations of all candidates orchestrated to destroy their candidacies?

“It’s nobody’s business whatever goes on in a marriage.”

It’s nobody’s business until you make your faithfulness to the tenants of Judeo-Christian morality a centerpiece of your political campaign. Then it’s fair game.
