I'm not a young man. I've been following politics a long time. I have learned more this primary season than I could have thought imaginable.
It has been eye-opening, and not in a good way.
The end of the Obama presidency should fill me with great hope, but increasingly I'm seeing that it really doesn't matter. The instant someone's rice bowl is threatened... whether it is one considered conservative or liberal... establishment forces of both parties close ranks to preserve the status quo.
