The presidency is not a trophy or a prize. It is not a symbol. There should be no talk of sex, orientation, race.

I’m well aware of that. However, that was then, this is now. I doubt Rice would be acceptable today as President (or Provost)of Stanford to that group of protesting knuckleheads.

I demand that the next President of the United States not be a lawyer.
The students think they are in charge - it is the people paying for the college, their parents and the taxpayers, who are the customers who should get the input in this process.
The left gives them platform and voice. Why should the stupid lazy and incompetent not be chosen for President of the UN?? Why do we discriminate against Down’s Syndrome people? SHouldn’t they get top government jobs??
The left operates under a system of oppression. There hasn’t been true oppression in 20 years, so they have to dig it up. White privilege, LGBT garbage is their new ‘oppressive’ state.
Let us be careful about being critical of the mentally ill, cause sometimes I have been accused of being one. With good cause, I might add. But I still don’t bite women on their lower lips.....well maybe some lower lips.
I hope parents are paying attention to what is going on at college campuses around the country. It’s a total waste of money. Actually, worse than that. It’s brainwashing that costs 40 - 50K a year.
Why would a flock of vultures require anything so hierarchical as a President or Provost.

As a straight white married man, I guess I dodged a bullet by not taking that job last year at Stanford.
