"...enabling them to somewhat learn a very complex skill: flying a plane." I don't believe that a person learning to "somewhat" fly a plane will have a very long life expectancy.

There’s another word for it: reading.
There’s another word for this article: BS.

COOL! How much is a degree in applied mathematics going to cost me? Oh, and French, Latin and Greek.

I think that would be awesome... put half of the knowledge directly into the brain without having to read hundreds of pages of tedious texts and articles, and then study and practice to hone the skills.
You would still need to learn to think, while incorporating the new set of knowledge.

The research says that during testing, compared to a control group, they did 30% better.
That seems measurable to me. The headline exaggerates, but this is just the start, rather like the Wright brothers.

A good landing is one where the pilot and passengers can leave the plane without injuries. A great landing is one where the airplane can fly again without repairs.

Many years ago i attempted flying lessons in a Cessna 150, i tried one landing, scared the bejeezus out of me, enough that i discontinued my training, i wish to overcome that someday.
Either that or learn to fly a helo.

Funny but they have folks like a young girl who flew and landed a 737 solely by watching detailed flight videos on youtube, i watch them all the time by Baltic Academy.
But they never serve fish to the pilots on the 737’s i fly on....

They are at the elementary stages of what eventually will allow sharing of data between computers and humans. Incredible first step.

Learning to land and passing the written test are the most difficult things about abtaining a private pilots license.

"The system proved to be effective. When compared with a placebo group on a realistic flight simulation test, the participants who were fed with the pilot did 30 percent better."
I hope people realize that not only the story blatant click bait, the entire premise is BS.
No "data" was uploaded, and, at best, the experimental results are a statistical anomaly.

Lol..can you see it? Now they don’t have to recruit children to socialism. One upload session and liberal indoctrination is complete.
And yeah, this is what it will be used for. Except it will be a side effect. Oh, you got a traffic citation? You need driving re-education, oh and voting for a demoncrat will be a side effect...
