Yes, her baiting was pre-planned by the GOPe but her audience turned hostile. With her profile raised she may jump ship to CNN for more money.
I used to really like Megyn kelly but her non-stop anti-Trump bias has made her and Fox news pretty unwatchable. I still watch Hannity occasionally but I mostly have MSNBC on in the background these days and just rely on Free Republic for actual news. I suspect that I’ll never again watch Fox news with the regularity that I once did.

Kelly and Brett Baier are the only two worth watching on FoxNews. Hannity cannot generate an original idea out of his head even if he tries to and is official bootlicker to Trump and Bill O’Reilly has become as insufferable to watch as Geraldo. This crowd attracts low-info voters.
Don’t over-analyze this. Megyn Kelly is the future of Fox News. She will replace O’Reilly in that role and Fox will pay her whatever it takes.
This is just the normal Trump-like start of a negotiation for a new contract.

The only weekday FNC show I watch regularly is Red Eye. Tom Shillue is a much better host than Gutfeld was.
Fox Business is a superior network. I watch Varney, Dobbs, and Payne.
She’s made enough money this year bashing Trump that she can retire very comfortably.
If she leaves fox her ratings will tank.
