The problem with the resolution is there is no Constitutional authority for Congress or a Court to give or take ‘natural born’ US citizenship... What the Senate did was not Constitutional, but nobody, took notice, but said OK that makes sense.

Congress and the Courts are consistently making stuff up out of many threads of cloth of their own weaving, and call it ‘constitutional’.

And the supremes constantly avoid addressing issues. If they had taken any of the several cases about Obama, we wouldn’t have this BS now.

I don’t know why congress cannot clarify something that they pass, but none of these senators were around in the l1780s and 90s. It just seems that way.

Exactly correct. The U.S. Government is corrupt, incompetent, and careening out of control.
