It is possible,wish more would understand the concept
I did the same thing. Worked my way through college bartending at night. Paid cash for everything. I recently had the loan conversation with my granddaughter. She’s a sophomore and wants to go away to college in Oregon and was talking worriedly about loans.
I explained to her that an education here, at a less expensive school, while she’s still living at home is just as good as the one that will cost her a fortune in Oregon. They get no sympathy from me. lol
I just explained this to my granddaughter who is a sophomore. She’s wanting to go to college in Oregon and is worried about how to pay for it. Your formula is almost exactly what I gave her to go to college and not owe anything when done.
It’s exactly what I did.
She is waiting for somebody, ANYbody, to bail her out. She's a leech on society. Gibsmedat. And Bernie baby is her ticket.
Perhaps if they actually economics in HS home economics people could avoid this stupidity.
