"I thought he was a positive person, always," Trump said of candidate Obama. "I thought he'd be like a cheerleader for the country".

Could Donnie be more a teenage girl?

Anyone who was stupid enough to cheer for Obama in 2008 has no business calling himself a conservative in 2016.

But then people change. Yeah. /s

He got suckered by Hope N Change and a nice crease in the slacks? What it “this is the day the earth began to heal” speech that hooked him? Or maybe the faux Roman coliseum setup in Denver? Perhaps it was the leather bomber jacket for the “Office of the President Elect” that fooled Trump?

What a lousy judge of character. It would seem he didn’t spend 10 minutes looking into the man’s background and hatred of America.

“If you plan on giving us Hillary by not voting for Trump, you are a fraud.”

First rule: A conservative advocating for Trump should never
initiate the use of the word “fraud”.

Just my take on things, but there is an election reality that we set aside, but perhaps we don't think of it.

Who, being honest, would say that in 2012, if there had been a real chance at a contested convention against Romney that Freepers would not have been all over that opposing Romney into the convention to the last dying breath. I'm sure we would have. We rejected his beliefs and his government record.

Now, we panic at the fight that's taking place before us. Personally, I would prefer that Cruz continue to keep Kasich from getting delegates, but that he get to the convention and endorse Trump who will be the run away leader in delegates over Cruz.

The reality is, though, that a convention fight DOES present a legal, historical method of acquiring the republican nomination.

I don't fault Cruz supporters at all for wanting to win while there's a dying breath left in them.

Nor do I fault the establishment and Kasich supporters, no matter how liberal I think that man and the other GOP-E candidates are. If they have a means to fight, then by all means, fight. It isn't illegal.

This puts it on the shoulders of Trump to win. His supporters, too, should not be blamed for fighting to win.

And believe it or not, I consider this battle to be just as much a real war as any on a military battlefield. They are playing for control of the nation. If there is intrigue, covert operations, betrayal, and even assault, I would not consider that unusual given that this is a struggle for the helm of the economic and military powerhouse of the world.

That last is why I know God is in the struggle whether for good to the USA or for ill.

Now that it is evident to me that EVERY candidate supports snuffing out innocent life, I'm not terribly excited about any of them.

But, that they fight -- that's not surprising at all. Of course they fight.

All I can say is that reading this forum lately has been very very depressing. Both sides in this fight are busy poisoning the well so that unity will never occur.

At this point I cannot envision a Republican victory in November. The democrats will unite behind whoever gets the nomination because to them politics is their religion. For republicans it is more or less a pastime.

Right now I am hoping for a convention floor fight. I don’t think Cruz or Trump can unite the party after this dirty dirty embarrassing campaign of hate and lies and personal attacks on families and supporters.

There is no Ronald Reagan in the wings. Frankly, because a truly pro-life candidate cannot get the nomination or get elected as president, we will get the president we, as a nation, deserve in November.

I am not looking forward to it.

None of the candidates is a pro-life candidate.

None of the pro-life organizations whose press releases I saw approving of no-consequence abortion are true pro-life organizations.

That is my disappointment....they’ve had me fooled all these years, and I didn’t know it.

But now I do.

Might want to rethink the postulate you offer. Simply, just look at the first 5 letters of the MAIN issue.

Therein lies the culprit. Cheering the culprit itself are levels of magnitude worse signs of bad judgment.

I appreciate the response.

I would like to see included some statement that all complicit parties to any abortion are guilty under the law whether by the action of abortion/killing or by arranging, aiding, or abetting an abortion/killing.

Not very perceptive, is he?

Never mind how he variously supports libs and weirdoes and various dingbats (just watch Celebrity Apprentice). Apparently even as a very successful businessman he still has failings in wisdom.

Wow, courage to admit that but Barry was never the One and conservatives knew it from day 1.
