Ummm, no. Tom Jones had several notorious affairs while married to her.
Their son was born a month after their wedding.
Jones himself has admitted that during his Lothario period he slept with up to 250 women a year.
When you are knighted by the Queen, you are given the title “Sir,” just like Sir Winston Churchill. Surely you have heard of him?
Well, I guess I was wrong.
In his time people got married young. They stayed married because that the way it was created.
I understand that.
I just did not know Tom Jones was knighted. It was a bit of a surprise to me, that’s all. Same for Elton John and Paul McCartney.

Once long ago I was with a group of friends at the Playboy Hotel on Miami Beach. We had just seen the Ike and Tina Turner review and had dinner. We were out front waiting for the valet to bring the cat around. I was sitting on the edge of a cement planter and a commotion started and I saw a pair of Marco Rubio boots walk past in a crowd. I looked up and it was Tom Jones. All I could think about was how short he was. I’m talking 5’4” or 5’5”.

Growing up, my Mom and Aunts were divided into two camps; Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdinck. RIP Linda.
