Well, as a Red Wings fan, I should be happy just to see them there again (25 consecutive years now). I’ll hope for the best but not be too disappointed if another team like the ‘Hawks or Ducks take the Cup. Would not mind seeing the Caps or Bolts or Rangers win either.

The commentators were going on and on about this hit tonight in the Caps/Flyers game. Looked pretty bad to me and brainless too, what a dope Bellemare was.
“Worst hit: Dmitry Orlov was shoved head-first into the boards by Pierre-Edouard Bellemare with 7 minutes, 43 seconds to play in the game, resulting in a good deal of on-ice cursing, a scrum, a five-minute major and a game misconduct for Bellemare for checking from behind.”

I don’t know if more disciplining will ensue, the commentators were saying that play could have broken someone’s neck. Disappointing to see.

Dallas had the 2nd best record? I think they will take this game tonight but it is a close one, no one is breaking this one open.
I see the Islanders lost but I wish them the best, playing in the shadows a bit to the Rangers or at least, that’s the way it appears to me.
