I’ve been quite happy with OpenOffice.org; this looks interesting and worth a try.
Interesting that this comes from Germany; the original Star Office (from which OO.org and Libre Office are descended) also came from Germany.
I gave up on MS Office when I had to edit the registry to re-install it with the newer OS’s ... OpenOffice does everything I need and is of course FREE... I will never be a renter on MS’s software farm...
