I went to see God is dead 2 and I loved it. I took the entire family and it was pretty decent. I saw this Pat Boone article on Twitter so I watched the SNL to see how they parodied the movie. I found it very lame and not funny at all. Not sure if it is outrage worthy but it is really a stupid skit. SNL hasn't been funny in decades.

I think SNL is the same as it always was, 30% funny, 70% filler. Over time people forget the filler and remember the funny parts, and say it isn’t as funny as it used to be. Kate McKinnon’s Hillary is hilarious, IMHO.

If SNL had any gonads they’d be lampooning the so so so deserving proponents of the migration. But they don’t.

Feminism killed comedy and just about everything else like relationships, marriage, sex, the workplace, our military, educational institutions, America's standing in the world, blah blah blah. It's no mystery why SNL isn't funny anymore. Gilda Radner, Jane Curtain and Lorraine Newman could actually pull off playing female roles. GONE GONE GONE.
If you want COMEDY watch 'I Love Lucy'.. STILL ON TV AND STILL GETS TEN TIMES MORE LAUGHS THAN SNL!!!!

What is this ‘SNL’ of which Mr. Boone speaks?
I seem to recall a rather funny television show with the initials ‘SNL’ when I was a teen and early 20-something. I believe it stood for ‘Saturday Night Live’. If this show appears on NBC, the Neo-Bolshevic Channel, I can presume that the ‘SNL’ of which Pat Boone speaks is something like ‘Socialist Ninnies Laughing’. Could someone please confirm?

Expect nothing but the worst from Homowood. Please recall how homowood raved about two queer Cowboys in Buttlick Mountain.

SNL is a perfect example of liberal policies.
It hasn't been funny for decades
But it's perfect for liberal propaganda and agenda, so it's subsidized by other programming.
It can't carry it's own weight, but it's a sacred cow for the left, so worthy of financial slight of hand.

Actually, I prefer The original Andy Griffith series with Don Knotts.

Kate McKinnon's Hillary is funny, but when it comes to liberals SNL mocks ONLY the character, not their message. With Republicans like Trump it's his MESSAGE they mock, not only his character.
Democrats - SNL mocks their character
Republicans - SNL mocks their character AND THEIR IDEOLOGY.

The early years of SNL were the best.

In my travels I have found most secular people to be clueless about Christianity, and some Christian people to be clueless about how secular people perceive it.
The words that Boone is quoted seem strange and old fashion and meaningless and silly to most secular people. Keep in mind they operate with a 6 year old understanding of religion and philosophy in most cases. The strength of their philosophical view is that of wet tissue paper because they simply have disdain for those who study it.
Apologists for Christianity have to learn to related to blind people, and not expect blind people to not be clueless about God.

There will never be another John Belushi.

He was truly one of a kind.
The Samurai skits were good. I liked the early Weekend Updates and the parody commercials.
I was only a kid but my parents let me watch SNL anyway.

Yep, feminists are toxic to humor. That’s why the punchline to the best feminist joke is: THAT’S NOT FUNNY!!!!
To: wally_bert
Yes, two more who used to be funny back in the day.
To: napscoordinator
I can honestly say that I haven’t watched SNL in over thirty years, and I don’t feel I missed anything.
