He was truly one of a kind.

The Samurai skits were good. I liked the early Weekend Updates and the parody commercials.

I was only a kid but my parents let me watch SNL anyway.

The Bass-O-Matic commercial parody was in the top five of all-time funniest things ever done on SNL. Since then, not so much.
