I think “LOL!” is about as advanced as the arguments are going to get on your side.

Again, deliberative bodies specializing in election questions have looked at this claim.

They have universal found:

You’re wrong.

I just want to see his sealed documents on the subject. Generally people don’t hide documents unless they have something to hide.

What a load of Crap. This ranks right up there with the 5 mistresses crap from a month ago.

You’ve seen Ted’s Canadian birth certificate, right? Google it if you want to. It’s out there for the world to see. So what other documents do you want? What are you claiming is “sealed”?

And Trump’s promise to the voters in Iowa that he’d keep the EPA and the ethanol mandate?

He called for the guy to be fired, or is that wrong? I would love to be wrong about that. I was like, ‘hey this is a completely made up thing here, why is he buying into it?’

You apparently accept Trump’s flip-flops on a vast range of conservative issues, but not Cruz’s change on one or two trade issues.

The rest of your claims are unfounded and just more Trumpet fantasy. I trust Cruz much more than the “born again conservative “ Trump. I will support Trump if he gets the nomination as of now, but if Trump and his supporters continue to deal in slander, vile nastiness, and out right lies, a may change my mind if he gets the nomination.

I don't think any of your points have merit. (For example, Trump was born in New York, of all places. [Ha!])

***

In all seriousness, I do generally understand your cynicism. I don't trust American politicians--as a group--as much as I wish we could.

As a matter of fact, I submit that I am more cynical than you are. I don't trust guys like Trump. The fact that he isn't a politician does not reassure me at all.

Being a high-roller businessman and real estate magnate rather than a politician does not exactly make Trump a straight shooter (nor does it qualify him as a Chief Executive of our Constitutional Republic.) I think Trump's record is distinctly horrible.

American voters--even nominally conservative voters--seem to get suckered over and over and over. I frankly believe Trump is another RINO--an unusually charismatic one, of course--riding a wheeler-dealer's wave of populistic fear and confusion and slander.

Perhaps the saddest thing of all is that I am distinctly underwhelmed to learn that the majority of FReepers are Trumpsters. This website has become a mess, not a thoughtful discussion forum for talking about what our Republic really needs. (In other words, I agree with the FReeper who posted this thread. I think our free Republic is in monumentally serious trouble.)

While your view of Cruz on the border issue is understandable (i.e. I can see why someone would believe that) He is PA most folks see it the other way with Trump being the stronger border guy.

Why?

1) Trump was the one that made this an issue, he drove it, was attacked for it and did not back down. He made it the issue it is , all the other candidates wanted to just look the other way.

2) No doubt Cruz was and is strong on the border, but early in the campaign, he did not want to talk about what to do with the illegal folks here. His stock answer was “ the American people do not want to have that conversation until we secure the border”. He in PA he is viewed, rightly or wrongly as having only gotten off that stance when Trumps positives forced him too.

It Would also be fair to conclude, as some have that Cruz only came out for ejecting the illegals once he saw it was a popular stance. Either way he does not look as strong as Trump, at least to he majority of primary voters.

3) Cruz was on record in 2013 to favoring more H1B visas and did not change that stance until 2015. Folks here in PA see that as a method for wages to be depressed.

4) Trump is the only one who came out against Muslim immigration. Rightly or wrongly a lot of folks support that. Cruz does not.

The reality is here is PA the ratio of roughly 4.5 Trump supporters to 2.5 Cruz supporter seems to prevail. As immigration and Trade nationalism seem to be the 2 big issues, most folks around these parts see Trump as stronger on this issue.

You claim Cruz is somehow engaged with the GOPe, yet you have no proof of this. He is still reviled by McConnell and the rest of the establishment in DC. I think that is a good thing.

Sounds to me like you are just throwing out suppositions to support your anti-Cruz position. I try to make my decisions on actual facts.

I'm not answering you on this issue, because I know you knoww the truth, and like so many Trumpkins, prefer to keep repeating the same debunked talking points over and over again. But to enlighten others who may not know, those documents you say are "sealed" would also be sealed if they were mine, or yours, or the man down the street's... No one has to request certain documents be sealed; by law they are not subject to FOIA requests, simple because the information contained in them could be used to steal identities or create other dangers to the people listed in them.

He claims he is a 'natural born' US citizen.

****************

Well he was born on Canadian soil, to a Canadian father and had Canadian citizenship until May 14, 2014.
Rafael B Cruz, Edward's father renounced his own Canadian citizenship in 2005.

Do you want an answer, or do you want to mock, insult, and condescend?

Because if you’re not even going to consider my point of view, I’m just going to tell you to shove it without wasting my time.

>You’ve seen Ted’s Canadian birth certificate, right? Google it if you want to. It’s out there for the world to see. So what other documents do you want? What are you claiming is “sealed”?

His naturalization papers of course.

>A recent FOIA request to obtain a copy of his US naturalization papers, if they exist, was denied stating that the information would have to be requested by Rafael (Ted) Cruz himself. With the now highly likely true circumstances of his birth, this US Senator from Texas should be required to show proof that he ever became a citizen of the United States in order to be allowed to retain his seat in congress. Without this documentation of naturalization, which would be further proof to automatically disqualify him from running for President, he can in no way continue to hold a seat in the US Senate as one must at least have become a US citizen through naturalization to be eligible to hold the office.

If there’s nothing to hide, why stop the FOIA request? What’s Dirty Teddy hiding?

I'm not wrong, because I have always believed that Ted Cruz is a NBC.

So don't jump to conclusions.

I was just pointing out that some of the People you're making fun of used to believe that about 0bama, but seem to have had their position "evolve" once it became an issue with Ted Cruz.

So my LOL stands...

He’s already published his birth certificated which has all that identify info in it, so it’s not an identify theft issue.

He could publish them at anytime for the public to see. Why hasn’t he? When you run for president it’s important to be fully honest with the American people.

Cruz supports a ban on Muslim immigration until the vetting process is verifiable. This is exactly the same position as Trump.

From your link... “if they exist”.

Where are YOUR Naturalization Papers? I’ll tell you where mine are: I don’t have any. Never did.

Like Cruz, I was born a natural citizen.

You are being lied to by a Cruz liar. Cruz BC does not supply the info you were talking about.

Any person that has to hide records that are vital to The People, is not being honest.
