It is a simple matter to portray any public figure in any imaginable light simply by using their own words. It is more important to look at the person’s achievements. That is the measure of a man.

Some of us have taken the measure of the man, and found him wanting.

Trump was a Democrat back in the day. Of course, he disliked Reagan. Trump was a rich young man who got richer. Impressive, but hardly defines his character. Try reconciling his Twitter feed with presidential temperament. Try figuring out where he stands on a given issue. Those are my dilemmas.

The only person less trustworthy than Hillary that I can think of is Obama-or maybe Fidel Castro...

Bernie Sanders is more trustworthy, so is Vlad Putin or Bill Clinton...

Hillary is trying very hard
To finally end that traction
Of Bernie’s with total loons
She really needs that faction

So she will try to cozen them
With talk of rainbows and fun
And all the energy they need
Provided by the wind and sun

Think of all the A/C they use-
And the heat against the chill
Elites are only earth-friendly
Until their first electric bill...

The few gated enclaves left out here with elites don’t have anyone who will chop or gather wood for heat, or use fans to cool their houses either-it takes a whole roof covered with solar collectors and a barnful of storage batteries to power their homes because they are not willing to be the least bit cold or hot. You don’t save any money at all that way...

The happy thing is that most of them have moved back to the cities from whence they came, unable to live a REAL simple life, and more are leaving all the time-bad for real estate, but good for real simple/natural life enthusiasts...
