i hear him and i don’t believe a word he says. Not that i believe any of the others are more sincere, not at all. but again, it comes back to temperament. He’s thin skinned and a bully, and not someone i think who should be privy to the nuclear button. he’s given me zero reason to take anything he says on faith. he’s proven himself faithless in other endeavors.
I believe I like Trump because I identify with him. My enemies use the same language as his to describe me. His supporters speak similarly to mine. I sense his humanity, or what I suppose it to be. He is not without sin. Nor am I. I trust him about as much as I trust myself. I want this country to come out of its malaise and I believe Donald does as well.
