I read a article where the author suggested for each robot that replaces a human, that business pays the government a tax that will be the equivalent of an annual wage for a worker.
Of course that tax will be pilfered and be redistributed by government. So, things change but always stay the same.

Actually the cash itself is more germ ridden than the touchscreen. Money passes from hand to hand with all the things those hands touch. At least touchscreens get windexed occassionally.
