I guess that depends on whether you’re an Indian or not.

and those that helped found the nation.
Plus no naming of navy ships after any politicians.

Tell that to General Pakenham's widow, Welligton's sister. Also note that after Andy Jqckson and Pierre Lafitte kicked the Brits' asses at New Orleans, thoroughly ventilated Pakenham, stuffed the corpse in a whiskey cask and sent it to the widow, the Brits never attacked the US again.
Jackson had no way of knowing that the diployakkers had completed their work a few days earlier since such news had to be conveyed by sailing ship in those days. Good exercise for Andy's troops and a stern lesson for the Brits.

People will say, Only presidents belong on US bills. And theyll say, Okay, why not Obama?Except that Benjamin Franklin and Alexander Hamilton don't fit that description, either.

Jackson will remain on the $20 bill - Tubman will be on the other side of the bill The photos I've seen show Tubman on the front, not the back.

Another twist: The Tubman bills are scheduled to appear in 2026.
I'll wager that very few people know who she was. And a lot of people will not accept a Tubman-faced bill.
Not because of "racism", but because it doesn't resemble a twenty dollar bill.
They'll think it is some kind of fake.

I’m 57 year-old former naval officer, so you can take it from there.

When did the Brit army invade the US AFTER they got their asses kicked (or ventilated) at New Orleans by Jackson and Lafitte? And don't engage in the silly pretension that it had ANYTHING to do with the diployakkers. The Brits' and our diployakkers also concluded the Treaty of Paris in the 1780s to recognize our victory in the revolution. That did not stop the Brits from coming back and sacking Madison's White House and trying to recapture "the colonies."
Jackson did put a final stop to such schemes. Are you a fan of Hamilton or something? Or just as bad of John Quincy Adams and Mr. Biddle's bank? Or maybe a "paleo" who has a problem even with the US defending itself during an invasion because, well, there might be (gulp) violence? About the only respectable excuse for dissing Andy Jackson would be if you were (or claimed to be) a Cherokee. Elizabeth Fauxcahontas Warren, is that you?

Thanks for your service but Jimmuh Cahtuh is an even older former Navy Officer and he doesn’t make much sense either.
