We shoudn't have gone in unless we were going to stay decades and occupy the country, no doubt about that. The fact is, though, that the US wasn't going to commit to occupying Iraq for a generation so where's that leave us ?

In a bad situation, for sure. It’s a crying shame that we’ve abandoned all those innocent people. Especially since we were just getting it right.
