Just wait until more work has been given to the robots. Then you will see the true level of suffering and despair from the human workers now left behind.

I think eventually, the government will have to mandate that a certain quota of jobs will be filled only by human workers. As much as I don’t like gov. intervention in the private sector, I think this idea will be seriously considered and debated within the next 15 years. Watch and you will see it too. A cultural upheaval is approaching in the way we approach work.

I too draw the line at automation being implemented so quickly that there are massive disruptions and nobody would be able to earn a living. However that would only need to be a temporary measure as new science discoveries,products, and services fill the gap. There is nothing like human nature for creating work that needs to be done. In the future robots will do the repetitive work and men and women can focus on more creative careers.
