I don’t know which I like more, the Lamborghini Miura or the Maserati Bora.

Here's a 2013 Aventador at the 2013 Concours d'Elegance. It was beautiful from any angle. A mere 700 hp, 217 mph top speed and a paltry $380k.

The Jalpa looks like another well known car, from a few years earlier.

they were both successful Southern Italian industrialists

They're both up north. Stopped by the Ferrari factory in the 90s in Modena. Did I miss anything?

When I was a teen, the Countach was all the rage, friends had wall posters of them, it was the car. I never got it, myself. It looks like some sort of angry insect with it's wings spread, about to launch itself at your face, just too many doodads tacked on. There have been many beautiful Lamborghinis before and after the Contact, but that was not one of them.

Back in the late 90’s I knew several folks who worked at an exotic car dealership. Some of the salesmen used to personally order the latest model Lambos up to two years in advance. By the time those cars were at the delivery stage demand was crazy and their value had increased 25%+.

Before he build sports cars, Lamborghini built some really solid machines that could HAUL!

This looks like the three cylinder, air-cooled diesel Lamborghini tractor that I once worked on in NW Kenya. Injector pump seal leaking, dumping fuel into the crankcase.
